sauteed Provimi veal chop with
caramelized onions, portabello mush-
rooms and Madeira wine sauce.
The Chilean Sea Bass at Encore
Restaurant in North Park Towers, is
considered among the finest to be had
anywhere ... so very delicate with
much taste-filled goodness ... It spells a
very deft presentation of experience in
the proper preparation of this fine fish.
Appetizers like smoked salmon
Rockefeller with spinach, onions, per-
nod and puff pastry ... and sauteed
Cape Canaveral Rock Shrimp with
Asian black bean sauce over tri-colored
pepper polenta cake are choice
Although sorbet before entrees at
many fine dining restaurants has
become a lost good experience ... or
just plain conveniently forgotten, it is
a standard at EnCore ... And coffee or
tea is presented in lovely fashion, com-
ing in tall glass mugs with handles.
Reservations are accepted and very
much advised.
Theme dinners by "Chuckie" are to
the delight of many ... Like the fun-
filled Hawaiian luaus she puts on ...
This summer will have outside
umbrella tables with seating for about
200 ... plus the very highly received
"Jazz-In-The-Park".
If necessary, another room can be
utilized for seating ... and "Chuckie's
catering expertise availed in the 75-
100 capacity penthouse.
Quiet, relaxed dining has seldom
been better than at the Encore
Restaurant in North Park Towers.
WE STILL HAVE no kosher Jewish
delicatessen in Michigan ... But for at
least one night, there will be glatt
kosher delicatessen favorites served to
all attendees.
It will be at the third ethnic all-you-
can-eat buffet by kosher caterer Jeffrey
Rosenberg ... Thursday, Feb. 1, 6 p.m.
... at Adat Shalom Synagogue on
Middlebelt, just south of Northwestern
Hwy.
His New York-style glatt kosher
Jewish delicatessen will have Nathan's
hot dogs and all the trimmings,
corned beef, pastrami, matzoh ball and
mushroom barley soups, chicken sand-
wiches, Philly steak sandwiches,
kugels, kishke, potato salad, cole slaw,
desserts, Dr. Brown's soda, etc. ... $22
adults, $12 youngsters ... all-you-can-
eat.
This one may bring the best atten-
dance yet ... Chinese hit over 600 and
Italian over 400.
