Yeshivat Akiva in Southfield held a celebration for the first night of Chanukah.
The opening address was given by the headmaster, Rabbi Yigal Tsaidi.
The evening started with the lighting of the candles by the kindergarten
class under the direction of Rivka Nachlas. The event highlight was soloist
Yaniv Tsaidi, son of Rabbi Tsaidi.
Laura Schwartz led the Akiva choir, composed of children from the elemen-
tary school.
