HERMAN LITTKY, 89, former
Detroiter of California, died Dec. 24.
He was a podiatrist for 35 years. He
was also a sports fan and was deeply
committed to the perpetuation of
Judaism.
He is survived by his wife of 63
years, Pearl; children, Sandra (Irving)
Klasky, Dennis Littky, Nancy Games)
Linden; grandchildren, Helaine (Will
Wechsler) Klasky, Neil (Adrian
Koffka) Klasky, Stephanie (Steven)
Klasky-Gamer, Seth and Sari Linden;
great-grandchildren, Shira and Eliezer
Klasky-Gamer.
Services at Eden Memorial Park.

DOROTHY LOCKMAN, 90, of
Novi, died Dec. 29.
She is survived by her sister,
Gertrude Scherr; niece and nephew,

SYLVIA MITCHNICK, 82, of

Farmington Hills, died Dec. 29.
She is survived by her daughters
and son-in-law, Nancy and Alan Siegel
of West Bloomfield, Karen Strichartz
of West Bloomfield; sister and broth-
er-in-law, Barbara and Henry Render
of Deerfield, Ill.; grandchildren,
Joshua Siegel, Jessica and Aaron
Strichartz. She was the beloved wife of
the late Abraham Mitchnick; sister of
the late Martin Pasmanter and
Norman Pasmanter.
Services were held at Temple
Emanu-El in Oak Park with interment
in Hebrew Memorial Park Cemetery.

JACK NATER, 79, of West
Bloomfield, died Dec. 28. He was the
vice president of Foamade Industries
and a member of the National
Council of Jewish Women-Meals on
Wheels.
Mr. Nater is survived by his wife,
Gertrude Nater; sons and daughter-in-
law, Gary and Lou Nater of White
Lake, Ken Nater of Plymouth; daugh-

ter and son-in-law, Marcie and Ted
Lipman of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Charlie and Andrew Nater,
Nicole, Danielle and Ralph Moore,
Brad Lipman and Dan Lipman; great-
grandchildren, Alexis Friedman, Chaz
Iveber; brother and sister-in-law, Dr.
Louis and Ina Egnater;. sisters-in-law,
Carol Egnater and Jennie Taylor. He
was the loving brother of the late
Bernard Egnater; dear brother-in-law
of the late Dr. Aaron Taylor.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
directed to the American Heart
Association. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

KATE T PANKIN, 93, formerly of

Oak Park of Grand Blanc, died Dec.
26. She was a mathematics teacher at
Oak Park High School and retired as
chair of the math department in 1973.
She received a master's degree from
Wayne State University in 1962. Later
Mrs. Pankin was a Census Bureau
employee and retired in December.
On her 90th birthday, she celebrated
with her co-workers at the bureau and
was hailed as the oldest employee of
the bureau.
She is survived by her sons, Robert
Pankin of Johnston, R.I., Mark
Pankin of Arlington, Va.; three grand-
sons; one great-granddaughter.
Contributions may be made to the

Woodward Pass, Suite 110, East
Lansing, MI 48823-2060. Private ser-
vices were held. Arrangements by Hill
Funeral Home in Grand Blanc.

PESIA SAPOZNIKOV, 96, of

Ramat-Gan, Israel, died Dec. 4.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Netanel and Ruth
Sagov of Ramat Efal, Israel; daughters
and sons-in-law, Adina and Josef Tzee
of West Bloomfield, Shoshana and
Chaim Iwanir of Ramai-Gan, Israel;
seven grandchildren; 11 great-grand-
children. Mrs. Sapoznikov was the
beloved wife of the late Solomon
Sapoznikov.
Interment in Holon, Israel.

GWEN (GOLDIE) SATZ, 82, of

Southfield, died Dec. 30.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Robert and Loretta
Satz of Farmington Hills; daughter,
Nina Mallin of Southfield; brother
and sister-in-law, Joseph and Dee
Forbes of West Bloomfield; sister and
brother-in-law, Helen and Sam
Weiner of Coconut Creek, Fla.; gran
children, Julie Satz, Rachel Satz and
