He was the vice president of Foamade Industries and a member of the National Council of Jewish Women-Meals on Wheels. She was a mathematics teacher at Oak Park High School and retired as chair of the math department in 1973. She received a master's degree from Wayne State University in 1962. Later Mrs. Pankin was a Census Bureau employee and retired in December. On her 90th birthday, she celebrated with her co-workers at the bureau and was hailed as the oldest employee of the bureau. She is survived by her sons, Robert Pankin of Johnston, R.I., Mark Pankin of Arlington, Va.; three grand- sons; one great-granddaughter.
