Rachleff, took the
first initiative for a Central reunion back
in 1966, at the farewell brunch here for
Central's 40th ... She and hubby,
Michael Cahn (formerly Max
Cohn/Crandall), Central Class of 1946,
moved with their three sons to Berkley;
Calif, from Ann Arbor in 1978.
Not only has the committee
unearthed fellow grads from Mumford,
Cass Tech and Oak Park High living all
over the Bay Area and southern
California, but also in Arizona and
throughout other western states as well.
Working via long-distance phone with
1956 Central High senior-class president
Leonard Milstone, now of the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, the
alumni folks have reached over 300 for-
mer Detroit high school classmates
around the United States.
