Israel Bonds Women's Division raised
over $245,000 while touring the art
galleries of Chelsea in New York City.
Members of the Golda Meir Club
who purchased $5,000 or more in
State of Israel Bonds flew to New York
on the morning of Oct. 12 for a day
of galleries, meetings and shopping.

Create a bowl - help fill an empty stomach!

Yad Ezra, Michigan's only kosher food pantry, the Food Bank of Oakland
County and The Jewish News are joining forces to raise awareness about
hunger and funds to purchase nutritious food for the needy in the metro
Detroit community through an *Empty Bowls project.

WANTED:

Handmade bowls (e.g. pottery, glass, paper mache) to be
donated to our Empty Bowls project. Bowls will be available
for purchase at an Open House on Saturday, January 21st at
Yad Ezra's warehouse. For further information and/or bowl
