music in the film, had performed as
tenor and cantor.
If the Detroit community shows a
strong interest in the film, the Shaarey
Zedek Cultural Commission will sched-
ule similar programs.

erature," Wilhelm says. "Because it's
from a culture that has been so
destroyed, it allows the spirit of a van-
ished world to live again." 111
The Dybbuk will be presented
7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15,
at Congregation Shaarey Zedek
in Southfield. Admission is free;
there will be a $3 fee to attend
