traditional Jewish dishes prepared by Shirlee
Bloom, using only kosher products in her sep-

and tables. Everything can also be gotten for

that are served hot from an open hearth.
Many of the dining favorites are guarded family
recipes not found elsewhere. Outside catering

America. Star is just a small place, with little
room to move about when crowded.
Homemade taste has also been one of the
trademarks for its success. Fat-free and regu-

and more. Its lox is cut by hand. Beautiful trays
