Julie Falbaum senior associate
for Synagogue 2000, a pro-
jected coordinated by
Federation's Alliance for
Jewish Education together
with local congregations.
Along with her new posi-
tion at Federation, Falbaum
is an adjunct professor at
Wayne State University,
where she has taught classes
in the graduate school of
social work since 1993. She
previously was director of
clinical and account services
for Health Management
Systems of America, a
national employee assistance
program.
Falbaum received her mas-
ter of social work degree from
Michigan State University.
She lives in Royal Oak with
her husband and daughter.

by James D. Grey, chair of
the Speakers Bureau of the
Jewish Genealogical Society
of Michigan at the JCC in
Oak Park from 7-9 p.m. Oct.
