BENJAMIN BROWN, 97, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 21.
He is survived by his brother, Yale
Brown of West Bloomfield; sister,
Edith Gould of Livonia; nieces and
nephews. Mr. Brown was the
beloved husband of the late Pearl
Brown; loving father of the late
Helena Vipond.

DOROTHY MEDNICK CHINN,
90, formerly of Washington, D.C.,
of Southfield, died Aug. 25. She
worked for many years as a librarian
in the Hebraic section of the Library
of Congress and for 35 years devot-
ed efforts to the Jewish federation in
Washington. She was a life member
and past president of Hadassah.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Aaron and
Judith Chinn of Lafayette, Calif.;
daughter and son-in-law, Mary and
Dr. William Beres of Southfield;
grandchildren, Deborah and Rabbi
Shalom Baum, Sharon and Dr.
Victor Fishman, Ben David Beres,
Dr. David and Judy Chinn, Gary
Brad Chinn, Dr. Daniel Chinn;
great-grandchildren, Yonaton,
Dovid, Esther Baum, Ellen and
Michael Chinn, Rafi, Dani and
Eitan Fishman. Mrs. Chinn was the
beloved wife of the late Dr. Ben D.

BERNARD "BUD" ISENBERG,

77, of West Bloomfield, died Aug.
28. He earned a bachelor of science
in business administration at Wayne
State University and attended the
University of Michigan. Most
recently, he was associated with the
Consortium Four Inc. in
Farmington Hills. Among his many
affiliations, he was a member of the
American and the Michigan_
Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, a past president of
Temple Beth El Men's Club, past
chairman of the Franklin Historic
Study Commission, board member
of the Franklin Historical Society
and was serving as president of the
Service Corps of Retired Executives.
He is survived by his wife of 54
years, Helene Isenberg; sons and
daughters-in-law, Steven Isenberg of
Massachusetts, Jon and Lorrie
Isenberg of Beverly Hills, Richard
and Eve Isenberg of Pennsylvania;
grandchildren, Jeffrey, Rachel,
Mallory, Benjamin, Gabriel and
Shira Isenberg; sisters and brothers-
in-law, Ethel and Sydney Krause of
Southfield, Judy and Tom Easton of
Massachusetts.
