DOROTHY MEDNICK CHINN,
90, formerly of Washington, D.C.,
of Southfield, died Aug. 25. She
worked for many years as a librarian
in the Hebraic section of the Library
of Congress and for 35 years devot-
ed efforts to the Jewish federation in
Washington. She was a life member
and past president of Hadassah.
She is survived by her son and

recently, he was associated with the

Farmington Hills. Among his many
affiliations, he was a member of the
American and the Michigan_
Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, a past president of
Temple Beth El Men's Club, past
chairman of the Franklin Historic
Study Commission, board member
of the Franklin Historical Society
and was serving as president of the
Service Corps of Retired Executives.
He is survived by his wife of 54
