Cobras Complete
Successful Season

The North Farmington-West
Bloomfield Cobras travel baseball
ream (10-year-olds) completed their
season recently by winnina the Grand
Blanc (Mich.) Invitational. b
The Cobras defeated Lake Orion
10-6 in the championship game,
behind the pitching of Zack Ehrmann
and David Jackson. Mike Allen hit a
bases-loaded double to break open the
game.
The Cobras also won the NFWB
USSSA-NIT Summer Classic at
Founders Park in Farmington Hills
over the July 4 weekend and finished
second in June at the Mayor's
Invitational in Bartle Creek.
The team, members of the Little
Caesar's Amateur Baseball Federation,
won 16 of their last 20 games during
the season.
Tryouts for next year's team will be
held Sept. 9-10. For information, call
