JOYE S. HORDES, 74, of Toronto,
Ontario, Canada, died July 27.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Irving and Cheryl
Hordes of West Bloomfield; daughter,
Robbie Hordes Levett of Livonia. She
was the beloved sister of the late Jayne
Oppenheim.
Graveside services were held at the
Clover Hill Park Cemetery

SEYMOUR J. JAFFIE, 71, of
Northville, died July 29. He was the
owner of Stockman-Helm Inc. Media,
distributors of printed advertising
materials.
He is survived by his wife of 24
years, Lois Jaffie; daughter, Cheryl
Zahler of Northville; son, Michael
Zahler of California; sister and broth-
er-in-law, Sylvia and Gil Goodman of
Maryland; brother-in-law and sister-
in-law, Nelson and Susan Pole of
Ohio. He was the beloved son of the
late Israel and Rose Jaffie.
Interment at Adat Shalom

WILLIAM KADASHAW, 81, of
Southfield, died July 28. Mr.
Kadashaw was in the U.S. Air Corps
for 5 years. He received the Asiatic
Pacific Campaign Medal, American
Defense Service Medal, American
Campaign Medal, Camp-aign and
Service Victory Medal and the Good
Conduct Medal for service in World
War II.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine
Kadashaw; son, Barry Kadashaw of
Van Nuys, Calif.; daughters and sons-
in-law, Arlene and Jeffry Kelber of
Plano, Texas, Gloria and Sanford
Rosenberg of Oak Park; grandchildren,

Scott Kelber, Stacey Rosenberg,
Kenneth Rosenberg.
