to raise money for Hadassah-spon-
sored children's cancer research.

grandparents will cheer their adopt-
ed ducks toward the finish line. A
single duck can be adopted for a $5
donation; $25 for a six-duck Quack
Pack; $50 for a Derby Dozen of 13
ducks; $1,000 for a Flock Of 30.

Park admission is $3 per vehicle.
The grand-prize winner will receive
a two-year lease on an Oldsmobile
Alero. The first-place prize is a
Carnival cruise for two. The second-
place prize is a getaway weekend at the
Hotel Baronette in Novi. Additional
prizes will be awarded.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., free family
activities will include moonwalks, face
painting, magicians, clowns and
games. Food will be available.
The Detroit Ducky Derby is pre-
sented by the West Bloomfield-based
Greater Detroit Chapter of Hadassah,
the women's Zionist organization of
America. Proceeds will be used for
children's oncology services and
research in the fight against cancer in
children.

War Veterans of the United States of America donated a flag to the George
Washington Carver School in Highland Park. Shown unfolding the flag are
