STEVEN NEIL KONIKOW, 39, of
Utica, died June 24. Mr. Konikow was
the owner of Steve's Auto Electric on
Dequindre and Nine Mile Road.
He is survived by his daughters,
Jennifer Lynn Konikow and Jamie Lee
Konikow and their mother, Laura
Konikow; parents, Gail Rader of Oak
Park, Sidney and Myrna Konikow of
Farmington Hills; brother and sister-
in-law, Alan and Theresa Konikow of
Massachusetts; sisters and brother-in-
law, Marlo Konikow, Barbara and Dr.
Daniel Krauss; grandmothers, Esther
King of Oak Park, Libby Konikow of
Oak Park. Mr. Konikow was the lov-
ing grandson of the late Jack King and
the late Garson Konikow.

CARLO KUGAN, 53, of Taylor, died
June 26. He was a welder for Ford
Motor Company.

ISABELLE "BELLA" CHALLOVE
LEVBOW, 83, former Detroiter of
Solana Beach, Calif., died June 9. She
was a pianist, dancer and athlete. She
earned her bachelor of arts degree,
master's and education specialist
degrees from Wayne State University.
Mrs. Lebow was active in the
founding of the Detroit Tennis Club.
For 30 years, she served as a physical
education teacher in the Detroit pub-
lic school, teaching at Southwestern
High School and Bow Elementary
School. She was active with the La
Jolla Chamber Music Society.
She is survived by her daughters,
Lori Lebow of Austinmer, NSW,
Australia, Harriet (Derrick Wolf)
Lebow of Hell, Mich.; grandchildren,
Alexis and Evan Lebow-Wolf. She was
the devoted wife of the late Aaron
"Red" Lebow; loving sister of the late
Esther (Challove) Politzer.
