orfman Funeral Direction

DR. SAUL ROSENBLUM, former

Detroiter of Akron, Ohio, died June
4. He graduated from Ohio State
University Medical School, receiving a
master's degree in radiology. He was
on the staff of the Department of
Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital
from 1966 to 1978. He then joined
the radiology department of St.
Thomas Hospital in Akron until his
retirement two years ago. He was a
Fellow in the American College of
Radiology and was on the admissions
committee of Northeastern Ohio
Medical School.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara,
son, Walter Rosenblum of Novi;
daughters and son-in-law, Carol
Rosenblum of Los Angeles and
Frances and Stuart Rothstein of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren Eric, Dana
and Daniel Rosenblum; sister and
brother-in-law, Goldie and Samuel
Feinberg of West Bloomfield.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice.

SAMUEL S. RUBIN, 96, of

Southfield, died June 18.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law. Murry and Rita
Rubin of West Bloomfield; daughter
and son-in-law, Mildred and Alvin
Silverman of Chevy Chase, Md.;
grandchildren, Deborah (Allan Feuer
Rubin, Sherle (Steven) Flaggman,
Phyllis (Marshall) Cole, David
(Debbie) Silverman; great-grandchil-
dren, Caitlin, Stacey (Michael),
Lauren, Hillary, Michael and Adam.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Shirley Rubin. Contributions may
be made to the Irene Elkus Fund at
the Jewish Association for Residential
Care or a charity of one's choice.
Interment in Baltimore. Arrangements
by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

Bloomfield, died May 14. Mr. Ruby
was a furniture executive with stores
located in Livonia and on Van Dyke, a
past president of the Detroit Lodge of
B'nai B'rith and a charter member of
the Oakland Lodge. He was also
active with the Lions, a member of the
Furniture Club and the American
Society of Interior Decorators.
Mr. Ruby is survived by his wife,
Marion Ruby; son and daughter-in-
law, Stanley and Soyara Ruby of
Florida; daughter and son-in-law,
Bobbi and Terry Socall of Orchard
Lake; grandchildren, Sean Roseland,
Sherri Bowman, David Ruby,
Jonathon Ruby; brother, Nathan
Rubenstein of Southfield; sisters and
