Women Choose
Goldsmith

Gladys Goldsmith will be installed
as president of the Congregation
Beth Shalom Sisterhood at a lun-
cheon 11:45 a.m. Monday, June
12, at the synagogue.
Goldsmith was the 1999
Honored Volunteer of Women's
League for Conservative Judaism. A
member of the synagogue choir
and the Bel Canto Choir,
Goldsmith has served sisterhood as
education vice president, was gift
shop and membership chair.
Carol Tarica, Michigan Branch
president, and Linda Lublin,
Michigan Branch immediate past
president and national board mem-
ber of WLCJ, also will install the
following: Helene Robbins, Ethel
Fitzerman,•Marcia Tanzman, secre-
taries; Marcia Abel, Anna Mickel,
Judy Goldsmith, vice presidents;
Ellen Racusin, treasurer; Bess
Lipson, parliamentarian.
The installation will incorporate
a sing-along led by Cantor Samuel
Greenbaum, accompanied by
Rochelle Barr, organist at Temple
Shir Shalom. Members of the
