Orlando, Fla. ... for storage in his
freezer to eat whenever he wants ...

Knollwood, Franklin, Tam
O'Shanter Country Clubs and so
many other places, call for hamburgers
to be served as late night snacks at bar
and bar mitzvahs and other occasions.

at Hunter House in Birmingham
when Mark bought the operation
Today, he rakes his own equipment
everywhere to make hamburgers
cheeseburgers, chili fries, french fries,
etc. ... for every occasion ... This sum-
mer Mark has bookings from bar and
bat mitzvahs to sweet 16s to 50th
birthdays ... and outdoor barbecues
for varied party-giving.
Last year, July 4th, at the annual
Michigan Tastefest on W. Grand
Blvd., in Detroit, Hunter House sold
over 20,000 burgers in the four days
... This year, it expects to do well over
25,000 in the five days it will be held
... In August, at the Dream Cruise on
Woodward, it did over 20,000 in one
day, and for the week, over 60,000 ...
At the Labor Day Arts, Beats & Eats
in Pontiac, well over 15,000 burgers
are again expected to be sold at the
four-day holiday festival.
Hunter House restaurant in
Birmingham is open Monday through
Thursday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday
and Saturday, 6 a.m. to midnight ...
serving full breakfasts and burgers that
bring back slider memories ... of the
ones that never tasted this good.
Every Saturday morning, 10 fami-
lies of three and four generations
come in, all sitting atop their favorite
stools ... One of them, an 80-year-old
gent, sits in the same seat he says he
sat in when Hunter House opened 48
years ago.
When a little 2-year-old girl named
Claire said she didn't eat meat ... and
