Temple Builds
A Playscape

Two generations of Birmingham Temple
members came together on May 20, to
build a new playscape for young families
at the temple. Members did the work
themselves, with supervision from a
playground construction expert.
The project, a joint initiative of the
Young Couples Club, the Family Club
and Rabbi Tamara Kolton, got under
way after a tot-Shabbat service in the
spring of 1999. Donations by the family
of the late Sally Kasle and other
,fundraising paid for the project.
The playscape will be dedicated to
the memory of Sally Kasle on Saturday,
June 3, at the temple's annual birthday
party and picnic.
