BERT J. GOOEL, 95, of Detroit,

died May 20. For 64 years, Mr. Gooel
was the owner of Standard Paint
Company. He was a life member of
Temple Beth El and a member of the
Men's Club, an accomplished violinist,
a 70-year member of the Masons and a
member of the Moslem Shrine Club.
Mr. Gooel is survived by his wife of
69 years, Alma Marks Gooel; daugh-
ter-in-law, Elaine Kaufman; grandchil-
dren, Lori and David Schlanger, Bruce
and Lisa Good, Rebecca and Rodney
Carey; great-grandchildren, Rachel,
Mara and Matthew Schlanger, Lauren,
Stephanie, Jenna and Michelle Gould,
Andi and Alexis Carey. He was the lov-
ing father of the late Richard Gooel.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be directed to
the Richard Gooel Forest at Jewish
National Fund or Temple Beth El.

EILEEN L. GOLD, 77, of Oak Park,

died May 20.,
She is survived by her husband,
Ervin Gold; son and daughter-in-law,
Steven and Susan Gold of Pleasant
Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Judy
and Brian Duncan of Riverview; sister,
Bea Posluns of Canada; grandchildren,
Jason Gold, Joshua Gold, Tracy
Duncan.

JACK GROPMAN, newborn son of

Curtis and Claire Gropman, died May
21.
He is also survived by his grandpar-
ents, Jerome and Marlene Gropman of
Bloomfield Hills, Gary and Roberta
Barna of New Jersey.
A private family graveside service
was held at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

REGINA GRUCA, 82, of Southfield,
died May 19. She was a Holocaust sur-
vivor.
She is survived by her beloved hus-
band of 53 years, Wolf Gruca; son and

Gruca of West Bloomfield; daughters
and sons-in-law, Mary and James Starr
of Troy, Susane and Aaron Yesnick of
Buffalo Grove, Ill.; brother, Hersh
Waldman of Santa Monica, Calif.; sis-
ter and brother-in-law, Sally and
Harry Felsher of Indianapolis, Ind.;
grandchildren, Terri and Jeffrey Gruca,
Aaron and David Starr, Carol Yesnick.

Bloomfield, died May 26. Prior to
coming the United States, Mr.
Gruenberg spent eight years in China
where he owned a grocery store. He
was a manager at Farmer Jack.
Mr. Gruenberg is survived by his
sons and daughters-in-law, John and
Cheryl Gruenberg of Cincinnati,

Harry and Deanne Gruenberg of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Melinda,
Daniel, Michael, Justin and Bobby
Gruenberg. Mr. Gruenberg was the
beloved husband of the late Margaret
Gruenberg.

ter's degree in instructional technology
from Wayne State University. He was
a biology and computer science
teacher at Oxford High School.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife,
Shirlee Wyman Harris; sons, Jason

Edith Wyman; mother, Doris Harris;

Candice Harris of Rochester, Dennis
Harris; sister, Janis Harris; brothers-in-
