For 64 years, Mr. Gooel was the owner of Standard Paint Company. He was a life member of Temple Beth El and a member of the Men's Club, an accomplished violinist, a 70-year member of the Masons and a member of the Moslem Shrine Club. Mr. Gooel is survived by his wife of 69 years, Alma Marks Gooel; daugh- ter-in-law, Elaine Kaufman; grandchil- dren, Lori and David Schlanger, Bruce and Lisa Good, Rebecca and Rodney Carey; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Mara and Matthew Schlanger, Lauren, Stephanie, Jenna and Michelle Gould, Andi and Alexis Carey.
