LILLIAN MICHELSON HABER,
90, of Southfield, died May 3. Mrs.
Haber was a member of Temple
Beth El, the National Council of
Jewish Women, the former head of
Temple Beth El Sewing Club and
active with Beth Elders. She was also
a former board member of the Fresh
Air Society.
Mrs. Haber is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and
Barbara Haber of Huntington
Woods; grandchildren, Jody and
Daniel Boorstein, Kim and Mark
Goodman, Wendy and Douglas
Hamburger, Matthew Haber and
Jason Haber; great-grandchildren,
Adam and Mitchell Boorstein,
Madison and Jami Goodman, Paige
and Justin Hamburger; sister, Alyce
Rosenblatt of Minneapolis; nephew
James Michelson. Mrs. Haber was
the beloved wife of the late Horace
J. Haber; the loving mother of the
late Michael H. Haber.
Interment at Woodmere
Cemetery. Contributions may be
directed to the Michelson Fund at
Temple Beth El or the Horace Haber
Fund at Fresh Air Society.

JUDY A. HORWITZ 57, of West
Bloomfield, died April 25.
She is survived by her aunts and
uncles, Samuel and Belle Platt of
Southfield, Harold and Michelle
Platt of Jerusalem, Israel, Shirley
Platt of West Bloomfield, Chani
Silberberg of Los Angeles; cousins;
caregivers and friends at the
Shenkman JARC home. Ms.
Horwitz was the loving daughter of
the late David H. Horwitz and the
late Betty Horwitz.

SAMUEL S. JANNETT, 83, for-
merly of Farmington Hills, of Boca

Raton, Fla., died May 2. He was the
founder of Corey Dinette, a retail
furniture company.
He is survived by his daughter,

Jeffrey and Valerie Jannett; grand-
children, Jack, Jason and Hannah.
