he Jewish Theological
Seminary patron event was
recently held at the Franklin
home of Robert and Lori
Nusbaum. More than JTS 100 patrons
attended the event, which featured a
musical performance blending
Ashkenazi and Sephardic songs.
Patron chairman Marcie Orley
thanked the hosts and the crowd. "If
you build it, they will come," said
Orley, referring to the beautiful
Nusbaum home. She acknowledged
that the honorees selected for the
upcoming gala JTS dinner are people
who have demonstrated the highest
participation in Jewish life. This year's
honorees are Peter and Shirlye
