In 1971, Mrs. Nemeth joined her
husband in his pioneering work to pro-
vide blind students easy ability to read,
write and calculate complicated mathe-
matical and scientific formulae so they
could compete on equal terms with
sighted classmates. She twice traveled to
the former Soviet Union with Dr.
Nemeth when the Russians needed his
expertise to upgrade their programs to
educate the blind.
She is survived by her husband, Dr.
Abraham Nemeth; son and daughter-
in-law, Richard and Julie Lazar of
Toledo, Ohio; daughters and sons-in-
law, Janis and Robert Colton of Chevy
Chase, Md., Joyce and Marvin Alpiner
of Granger, Ind.; eight
grandchildren; nine great-grandchil-
dren.

Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

HARRY PINCUS, 84, of Taylor, died
March 31. He was an x-ray technician.
Mr. Pincus is survived by his wife,
Nickie Pincus; nieces and nephews, Judy
and Bobby Kuhn, Eleanor and Allen
Gershgorn.
Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
Contributions may be directed to the
Jewish National Fund. Arrangements by
Ira Kaufman Chapel.

MURRAY S. POLANSKY, 82, of
Southfield, died March 28.
He is survived by his wife, Florence
Polansky; sons, James Kohl of St. Clair
Shores, Mark Polansky of Jacksonville,
Fla., Neil Polansky of Houston, Texas;
grandchildren, Anna Polansky, William
Polansky, David Polansky, Kyle Polansky.

BEATRICE RICHMAN, 85, of
Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., died March 29.
She is survived by her sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Daniel and Marjorie Richman
of Naples, Fla.; Joel and Laurie Richman
of Sharon, Mass.; daughters and son-in-
law, Gail Bernstein of Ontario, Canada,
Susan Richman of Birmingham, Linda
and George Brant of Olivenhain, Calif.;
grandchildren, Joel, Michael and Leigh
Ann Richman, Jonathan and Ethan
Richman, Jonathan (Siobhan) Bernstein,
Jason Bernstein, Adam and Korey Brant;
great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jake and
Jack-Daniel. She was the beloved wife
of the late Max Richman.,
