Hebrew School
Parent
Organization, a
Helen Rechter
past PTA presi-
dent in Detroit
schools and an
active member of the Zionist
Organization of America.
Mrs. Rechter is survived by her
husband, Nathan Rechter; son and
daughter-in-law Dr. Edward J. and
Leslie Atler of New Mexico; daugh-
ter and son-in-law Ava and Dr.
Charles Young of Farmington Hills;
grandchildren Todd and Tim Atler
and Brian and Stacey Young; sisters,
Jeanne Stone and Betty
Schottenstein. She was the beloved
wife of the late Dr. LeRoy L. Atler.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be directed
to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
