NETTIE GREGORY, 95, of Troy,

died Dec. 1. Ms. Gregory was a
bookkeeper for Post Printing
Company.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Burton and Lynn
Gregory; grandchildren Lisa Gregory
and James and Debbie Gregory;
great-grandchildren Ronald, Jamie
and Jessica; niece Bryna (Robert)
Gregory.
Ms. Gregory was the loving sister
of the late Celia Levinson and the
late Ida Lewis.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice.

MARILYN B. KARABELNICK, 91,

of Huntington Woods, died Dec. 8.
Mrs. Karabelnick was a building
industry bookkeeper. She sang with
the Don Fromin Chorus, played
piano and the harp and was active
with the American Artists Series. She
also volunteered with Braille writing.
Mrs. Karabelnick is survived by
her daughters and sons-in-law, Joan
and Dr. Stuart Davidson of
Huntington Woods, Susan
Karabelnick and Leonard Ablecop of
Huntington Woods; grandchildren
Kim and Dr. Mark Botham, Kayli
Anna Davidson, Dr. Scott and Dr.
Melissa Davidson, Jon and Ellyn
Davidson, Marc Ablecop, Renee
Ablecop, Cheryl and Buddy Pope;
great-grandchildren Brad Robbie,
Juliann Botham, Taylor and Burke
Davidson, Jessica Ablecop and
David Robles.
Mrs. Karabelnick was the beloved
wife of the late Aaron Karabelnick
and the dear sister of the late Freida
Blostein and the late Jeanne
Ungerleider.
Interment was at Beth El
Memorial Park. Contributions may

IDA KATZ, 84, of Farmington Hills,

died Dec. 6.
Mrs. Katz is survived by her sister,
Bessie Piper; nieces and nephews Barbara
and Nick Altwerger, Nancy and Jay
Waldman, Clifford and Myra Klayman,
Martin and Margo Katz, Joel Corwin,
Dr. James Piper and Dr. Michael and
Rhonda Piper; great-nieces and nephews.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Benjamin Katz and the dear sister of
the late Rebecca Corwin, the late
Maurice Klayman, the late Sally Kosit
and the late Sarah Katz.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may be
made to the American Diabetes
Association, the Alzheimer's Association
and the American Heart Association.
