Weddings

Abel Alston

Jeffrey Sherman Abel and Patricia
Alston were married recently in North
August, S.C. Rabbi Arnold Belzer of
Savannah, Ga., officiated.
Jeffrey- is the son of Florence and
Richard Abel of West Bloomfield, and
Patricia is the daughter of Margie

Butler of Appling, Ga.
Dr. Gerald Sherman, the groom's
uncle of West Bloomfield, was the best
man. The bride's sister, Angela Appleton
of Daphine, Ala., was matron of honor.
Following a honeymoon in Savannah,
the newlyweds reside in Appling.

Gross 50th

Shirley and Saul Gross of Livonia
will celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 20.
Hosting a dinner party in their
honor are children, Rena and Marty
Janower and Judy and Bruce
Gorman. Sharing in the celebration

with love will be grandchildren,
Andrea, Nikki and Adam Janower
and Amanda and Matthew Gorman
as well as extended family and
friends. Their loved ones wish the
Grosses a lifetime of love, happiness
and good health.

Dickman-Tepman

Jason Dickman and Doreen Tepman
were recently married at Congregation
B'nai Moshe. Officiating were Rabbis
Herbert Yoskowitz and Harold Loss
and Cantor Howard Glantz.
The bride is the daughter of Rena
and Jerry Tepman of West Bloomfield.
The groom is the son of Marilyn Wolf,
formerly of West Bloomfield of Lee's
Summit, Mo., and Robert Dickman of
Bloomfield Hills. '
Laurel Sereboff, friend of the bride,
was matron of honor. Bridesmaids
included friends Tracy Brod, Lisa
Kravitz, Micki Lynn, Marci Rotenberg,
Terri Stearn and Renee Weiss. Brian

best man. Groomsmen included Larry
Tepman, brother of the bride; Steve
Wolf, cousin of the groom; and friends
Brian Beekel, Larry Kaplan and
Michael Miller. Alexander Wolf, cousin
of the groom, was ring bearer. Sharing
in the couple's happiness was Ellen
Dickman. Also participating in the cer-
emony were the bride's grandmother
Ida Schwartz and the groom's grand-
mother Eva Wolf. The couple also were
honored to have the bride's aunt and
uncle Sally and Carl Lippirt and the
bride's cousin Pam Lippitt participate.
Following a honeymoon in Greece
and Turkey, the couple reside in
Chicago.

Markzon 50th

Max and Muriel Markzon will be
married 50 years on Dec. 4. Sharing
in this special celebration will be their
children, Joan and Jeff Climie, Caryl
Markzon and Mark Eidelson, and

Barbara Goode; and grandchildren,
Bradley Fahlgren, Jordan and Collin
Eidelson, and Mike and Lisa Goode.
They all look forward to celebrating
on a cruise.
