Aug. 30
Neal and Laurel (Portnoy) Sereboff of
Owings Mills, Md., are pleased to
announce the birth of their daughters,
Alanna Miriam (Alanna Miriam) and
Rebecca Faye (Rivkah Tziporah). Proud
grandparents are Jaclyn Portnoy, former-
ly of Southfield of Bethesda, Md.,
Lawrence Portnoy, formerly of
Southfield of Bethesda and Joan and
Jerry Sereboff of Annapolis, Md. Proud
great-grandparents are Sarah Portnoy
and Gertrude Hyman Grossman.
Alanna Miriam is named in loving
memory of her maternal great-grand-
mother Lottie Erlich, maternal great-
grandfather Morris Erlich and paternal
great-grandfather Morris Hyman.
Rebecca Faye is named in loving memo-
ry of her paternal great-great-aunt Reba
Bakal and her paternal great-grand-
mother Faye Sereboff.

Dr. Richard and Sherri Gelb welcome
with all their love the arrival of Eric
Quang (R'fael Eyri) from Vietnam. Very
proud grandparents are Audrey and
Meyer Silverman of Southfield and
Sidney Gelb of New York. Eric was
named in loving memory of his paternal
grandmother Esther Gelb and his
maternal uncle Ron Silverman. The spe-
cial occasion of Eric's brit mila and
mikva were officiated by Cantor Samuel
Greenbaum and Rabbis David Nelson
and Daniel Nevins.
