Faith Is Focus
Of TV Show

Dance Classes
For All Ages

The Northwest Suburban Interfaith
Ministerial Association and the
Ecumenical Institute for Jewish-
Christian Studies announce that the
television show What's Faith Got to
Do With It? now will be shown on
many MediaOne stations. Produced
in conjunction with Bloomfield
Community Television, the program
showcases representatives from vari-
ous religious traditions discussing
issues of concern to the community.
MediaOne subscribers in
Hamtramck, Hazel Park, Keego
Harbor, Lathrup Village, Madison
Heights, Oak Park, Orchard Lake,
Royal Oak Township, Southfield,
Sylvan Lake and West Bloomfield
Township may view the program at
8:35 p.m. Thursdays. Viewers in
Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms,
Birmingham and Franklin should
contact their local cable operator for
the viewing time in their areas.

The Jimmy Prentis Morris Building
of the Jewish Community Center in
Oak Park, in collaboration with
Stardust Ballroom Dance Studio, is
offering several dance classes for fun
and exercise during the Winter I ses-
sion.
A "Pre- and Post-Bar and Bat
Mitzvah Dance" class will begin at
6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, to
teach party dances, including line
and partner dances like the swing,
merengue and hustle.
"Ballroom Dance" will include
the American-style waltz, foxtrot
and tango. This class starts at 7:30
p.m. Monday, Nov. 22. Partners are
not needed.
The "East Coast Swing Class" will
teach the basics and newest varia-
tions for party and club dancing,
starting at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov.
22. Partners are not needed.
All three classes will run for four
weeks and cost $45 for members and
$60 for non-members.
