Growing... Together

OUR DAY SCH OLS

emember that song from The Music Mon?

"Kids! What's the matter with kids today?"

Walk into one of our Federation-supported day

schools and you'll know the answer. Nothing.

There's nothing wrong with kids who study math

and Midrash, history and humash, computers and

commentaries. Sure, like all young people, they may

stumble a little along the way. But there's a good

chance that kids who get a grounding in Jewish

ethical behavior are less likely to get grounded

for trouble later.

Federation supports day school education across

the spectrum of Jewish practice: Akiva, Darchei

Torah, Hillel,Yeshiva Beth Yehudah and Yeshiva

Gedolah.

We're proud that so many day school graduates

have given back to our community and to our

people. We're proud that, through our Annual

Campaign and our endowment efforts, Federation

can help every child who wants one to get a

Jewish day school education.

And why not? We know there's nothing wrong

with kids today.
