The Best Of Everything
alities and celebri-
ties will be from
eating pizza.
Buddy's Pizza's
campaign, got
pizza?" begins
Tuesday, NOV. 16 ...
with part of the
proceeds going
toward the St. Vincent and Sarah
Fisher Center.
Favorite charities of the local char-
acters and celebs will benefit from
their participation.
Carmen Harlan, WDIV-TV
anchor, will be the first one with a
got pizza?" red pizza sauce moustache
... at the official kick-off party at
Buddy's Pizza on Northwestern
Highway in Farmington Hills ... 5:30
to 8:30 p.m.
The first 100 guests will get free
personalized T-shirts at the
Northwestern locale ... with all creat-
ing their own "got pizza" moustache
and having a picture taken for print-
ing on a Buddy's T-shirt.
Those ordering the Carmen Harlan
Signature Pizza at any Buddy's Pizza
will put $2 into the coffers to help
children ... The "got pizza?" campaign
will go on through the 2000 millenni-
um year ... and honor all children's
charities.
By the way, at Buddy's Pizza now, is
also something you might like to try
... Greek Pizza ... with feta and
Wisconsin brick cheese, spinach,
roasted garlic, red onion, diced tomato
and dill ... A delicious and different
touch is it being served with home-
made Greek dressing on the side.
THE ALWAYS successful Michigan
Jewish Sports Hall of Fame dinner put
on by the Michigan Jewish Sports
Foundation, was again an attendee-
packed funfest for its 15th annual
induction happening.
Congregation Shaarey Zedek's
social hall and sanctuary were filled
with sports celebrities, games, auc-
tions, food and guys and gals meeting
people they haven't seen in years ...
The young folks, who get in at the
price of their age, were out in droves,
and as always had a great time ... All
kinds of games for them to play ...
Like the bumper cars and miniature
racing cars shaped like tennis shoes ...
Both were manipulated by remote-
control machines operated by the
youngsters.

basketball coach Chuck Daly, in honor
