Lindsay Erin Finkel will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Oct. 23,
at Congregation
B'nai Moshe. She is
the daughter of
Annette and Jerome
Finkel and older
sister of Bradley.
Proud grandparents
are Lee and John
Cassatt, Beverly
Finkel and Seymour
Finkel.
Lindsay's hobbies include swim-
ming, downhill skiing and in-line
skating. Lindsay is an honor student
at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. The mitzvah projects she par-
ticipated in were Dor L'Dor and the
JARC program at Hillel Day School.

Michael Khakham will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah at Temple
Israel on Saturday,
Oct. 23. The son of
Nina and Ilya
Khakham, he is the
brother of Luba.
Excited grandpar-
ents are Nikolaiy
Belyaev and Maria
Khakham. He is
also the grandson
of the late Helen Belyaev and Ruvin
Khakham.
Michael's most meaningful mitz-
vah project was assisting the elderly
at the Jewish Community Center. A
student at Walled Lake Middle
School, his hobbies are hockey,
swimming, skiing, golf and tennis.

Eric Robert Miller will celebrate his
bar mitzvah at -
Temple Israel on
Saturday, Oct. 23.
He is the son of
Lori Miller and Joel
Miller and brother
of Randee. Proud
grandparents are
Marlis and Nick
Feldheim and Rose
Miller; he is also
the grandson of the late Milton
Miller.
A student at Vaughn Middle
School, part of Cranbrook
Educational Community in
Bloomfield Hills, Eric enjoys riding
his bike, floor hockey, sports, boat-
ing and building models. His mitz-
vah projects included volunteering
at Yad Ezra and assisting at the
Temple Israel Labor Day picnic.
