Menorah House Honors Sukkot

The third annual sukka party held
Sept. 29 at Menorah House in
Southfield brought together 60
guests to enjoy food, socializing and
musical entertainment.
The celebration for residents of
the skilled nursing home and their
families began with honey cake and
wine in the sukka. The pouring rain

then brought the group inside for
dinner, music and dancing the hora.
Administrator Dennis Hayes was
named chief chef for the evening, a
well-deserved title for someone vol-
unteering to barbecue chicken in the
rain. E
