sored by Yeshiva Beth Yehudah and
Yeshivas Darchei Torah, two local
Orthodox day schools.
The rejoicing harkens back to the
festive water-drawing ceremony that
took place on Sukkot during the era
of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

Falling after the
High Holidays,
the festival of
Sukkot empha-
sizes the spirit of
unity.
