MAX STEINWAY, 80, of West
Bloomfield, died Sept. 15.
Mr. Steinway was a wholesale floor
covering distributor as well as the
founder and owner of Advance Floor
Covering Distributors. He was a mem-
ber of Congregation of Shaarey Zedek,
a longtime member of Congregation
B'nai David, a member of B'nai
Knollwood Country Club and the
Furniture Club.
Mr. Steinway is survived by his wife,
Esther Steinway; sons and daughters-
in-law Dr. David and Karen Steinway
of Scottsdale, Ariz., Barry and Karin
Steinway; daughter and son-in-law
Marci and Dr. Steven Grant of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren Matt, Leslie,
Jodie and Amy Steinway, Adam and
Joshua Grant, Jordan Steinway; sister
Ruth Simon of Des Moines, Iowa;
brother and sister-in-law Philip and
Carolyn Steinway of Chicago.
He was the dear brother of the late
Morris Steinway and the late Abraham
Steinway.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to a charity of one's choice.

RAE YOLLES, 94, of Southfield, died
Sept. 15.
She is survived by her son, Abraham
Yolles of Toronto; grandchildren Amy
(Michael) Young, Emily Yolles; great
grandchildren Jessica and Emma.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Louis Yolles.
Graveside services were at Beth
Abraham Cemetery. Contributions
may be made to the State of Israel.
