Mr. Steinway was a wholesale floor covering distributor as well as the founder and owner of Advance Floor Covering Distributors. He was a mem- ber of Congregation of Shaarey Zedek, a longtime member of Congregation B'nai David, a member of B'nai Knollwood Country Club and the Furniture Club. Mr. Steinway is survived by his wife, Esther Steinway; sons and daughters- in-law Dr. David and Karen Steinway of Scottsdale, Ariz., Barry and Karin Steinway; daughter and son-in-law Marci and Dr. Steven Grant of West Bloomfield; grandchildren Matt, Leslie, Jodie and Amy Steinway, Adam and Joshua Grant, Jordan Steinway; sister Ruth Simon of Des Moines, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law Philip and Carolyn Steinway of Chicago.
