MAIL DEPT. ... "Recently, Central
High School of Detroit had its 60th
reunion at the Parthenon House on
Drake. At least it was supposed to be at
the Parthenon House. Unfortunately,
there was a power outage that day. The
people at Parthenon House were so
accommodating and outstanding.
Lucky for us, there was no party that
night at Big Daddy's, which owns it, so
men were standing outside at the
Parthenon House and put a note on
the door. They also made many phone
calls to the guests that the party was at
Big Daddy's. We were so lucky. The
food was outstanding and everyone had
a wonderful time. At least that was the
feedback. Due to a Depression-babies
committee and generous donors, we
had monies left over, so we sent it to:
Team Alex, Make a Wish Foundation,
JARC and Alzheimer's Association." ...
