n unusual birthday presenta-
tion to Jerry Glassman

became the gift that keeps on
giving.
Twenty years ago, his children created
in his honor the Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan Detroit Jerry
and Debbie Glassman Transportation

JCC President Mort Plotnick said the
purpose of the fund was to "offset ongo-
ing costs of transportation provided by
the Center for seniors." But Glassman,
who Plotnick describes as someone

involved with the fund to enjoy them-
