She is survived by her daughters, Iris
(Gordon) Cutler of Los Angeles and Jaclyn
Portnoy of Bethesda, Md.; five grandchil-
dren and one great-granddaughter.
She was the wife of the late Morris
Erlich. Interment in Los Angeles.
DR. EDWARD FINE, 89, of Grosse
Pointe Park, died Aug. 7.
Dr. Fine was a psychiatrist and psycho-
analyst who practiced on the east side of
Detroit for many years. He graduated in
1.934 from Wayne University Medical
School and completed his residency in psy-
chiatry and pathology at Wayne County
General Hospital. He was also past chief of
the Outpatient Psychiatry department at
Providence Hospital.
Dr. Fine is survived by his sons and
daughters-in-law, Dr. Ronald and Marcia
Fine of Traverse City, Dr. Richard and Sally
Fine of Grosse Pointe Woods; Thomas and
Rabbi Stacie Fine of Traverse City; grand-
children Kenneth and Yonetre Fine,
Stephen Fine, Carolyn Fine, Michael Fine,
Robert Fine, Jason Fine, Brian Beckwith
and Benjamin Beckwith; great-grand-
daughter Maya Fine.
He was the beloved husband of the late
Alice Fine and the loving father of the late
Elizabeth Geer Fine.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

Michigan and Michigan Humane Society.

SUSAN LYNN HELLER, 55, of Troy,
died August 7.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Traci and Clinton Roger
Howard of Red Bluff, Calif.; sons Scott
Allen Heller of Palatine, Ill., Tony Heller of
Richmond, Mich.; sister Sandra Mahler of
Sr. Louis; granddaughter Lauren Ashleigh
Howard.
She was the beloved daughter of the late
George Katzenberg and Lael Malcolm.

of Southfield, died August 6.

JEFFREY MEIZELS, 37, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 9.
Mr. Meizels was a marketing manager at
Broner Hat and Glove Company. He
received his bachelor's degree from Michigan
State University and his MBA from
Clairemont College in California.
He is survived by his mother, Carol
Meizels of West Bloomfield; brother and sis-
ter-in-law David and Jennifer Nileizels of
Connecticut; grandmother Rose Russky of
West Bloomfield.
He was the loving son of the late Philip
Meizels.
Services were scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 13 with interment at Clover
Hill Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.
SHEILA FAY OBERNDORF, 64, of
Farmington Hills, died August 7.
She is survived by her husband,
Ronald Oberndorf; mother Rachel
Kaufman; sons Richard Oberndorf of
Torrance, Calif., Daniel Oberndorf of
Torrance; daughter and son-in-law
Doreen and Daniel Harding of
Westland; brother and sister-in-law
Marvin and Carol Kaufman of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren Courtney
Oberndorf, Amber and Autumn
Harding.
Mrs. Oberndorf was the beloved sister of
the late Mitchell Kaufman.
