Dr. Fine was a psychiatrist and psycho- analyst who practiced on the east side of Detroit for many years. He graduated in 1.934 from Wayne University Medical School and completed his residency in psy- chiatry and pathology at Wayne County General Hospital. He was also past chief of the Outpatient Psychiatry department at Providence Hospital. Dr. Fine is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Ronald and Marcia Fine of Traverse City, Dr. Richard and Sally Fine of Grosse Pointe Woods; Thomas and Rabbi Stacie Fine of Traverse City; grand- children Kenneth and Yonetre Fine, Stephen Fine, Carolyn Fine, Michael Fine, Robert Fine, Jason Fine, Brian Beckwith and Benjamin Beckwith; great-grand- daughter Maya Fine. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice Fine and the loving father of the late Elizabeth Geer Fine. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
