Elections Held
Congregation Shir Tikvah's member-
ship and teens held elections recent-
ly for leaders for the upcoming year.
The new executive committee is
president, Dr. Marla Scafe; first vice
president, Joan Slyker; second vice
president, Dan Brunell; treasurer,
\_ Jon Gleit; corresponding secretary,
/-7 Michael Silverstein; recording secre-
tary, Carolyn Davidson. The board
of trustees includes Joyce Bayer,
David Berkal, Jennifer Bernstein,
Alice Audie-Figueroa, Sydney
Harris, Elli Kloc, Cary Levy, Joan
Littman, Karen Melaas and Pam
Spitzer.
Service awards were presented at
the congregation's annual meeting to
Dick Sweet for- running Shabbat ser-
vices during Rabbi Sleutelberg's sab-
batical, Rich Spitzer for efforts as
building operations co-chairperson
and Dorit Edut for sharing Hebrew
with the congregation.

B'nai David
Installation
Cantor Ben-Zion Lanxner will
install the incoming officers and
members of the board of trustees of
Congregation B'nai David on
Saturday, June 26.
