Two Golfers
Hit Aces
Two local players got their golf seasons
off to a great start, hitting their first-
ever holes-in-one.
At Knollwood Country Club in
West Bloomfield, 20-year-old Robert
Trager holed out the fourth hole, a
171-yard par three with a 7-iron, on
June 4. He was golfing with his uncle
Larry Garon. On hand for the event
were Trager's grandparents, Dee and
Seymour Brode and Toby and Larry
Trager, and cousins Judy, Brad, Kim
and Walter Schram.
Six days later, 57-year-old Norman
Lynn of West Bloomfield got his ace
on the 123-yard 16th hole at Indian
Springs Metropark. Lynn was using a
9-iron.
