Gad-Hart Elected

David Gad-Harf, executive director of
the Jewish Community Council, led a
field of four candidates to win a four-
year term on the West Bloomfield
School Board in elections Monday.
Also elected was Donna Manley. Two
incumbents did not seek reelection.
Gad-Harf, whose son Joshua gradu-
ated this year from West Bloomfield
High School, said in a recent inter-
view, "The school system is something
that all of us should feel a stake in, not
just those who have kids in school. It's
the most important institution besides
the family that exists in our society in
terms of molding our children.
