died June 5.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred; son

Bloomfield; brother and sister-in-law
Herman and Mary Patter of Oak Park; sis-
ter-in-law Dorothy Patler of Florida; grand-

Mr. Patler was the loving brother of the
late Maynard Patler; the late Doris Sloane.

ESTELLE PINCUS, 74, of Southfield,
died May 31.
She is survived by her daughters and

brother and sister-in-law Phillip and
Josephine Rosenthal of New York; sister
Norma Reinhold of Brooklyn; grandchil-

Mrs. Pincus was the beloved wife of-the

DR. GILBERT ROTH, 77, of Flat Rock,
died June 7.
Dr. Roth was an optometrist in Flat
Rock since 1952. He was a commission-
er of the Grosse Isle Police Department,
a past commodore of the Grosse Isle
Yacht Club, a member of the Masons in
Detroit, a Shriner, a past president of
the Michigan Optometric Association
and a member of the F.A.A. of
Optometry. He was also a 40-year Navy
