the

Really.
If you don't believe it
check out Moshiach Online,
a new site devoted ro the
concept at the heart of the
Lubavitch movement, the
coming of the Messiah.
This is cyber-outreach at its best:
attractive, easy ro navigate, with a
clear understanding of the intended
audience.
Note, for example, one of the open-
ing choices: "Moshiach for
Dummies," an introduction to
Messianic theology using anecdotes,
jokes and small nuggets of traditional

that should come soon.
In case you can't find the answers
you're looking for, there are easy-ro-
use forms for submitting your own
questions to the Chabadniks. The
Webmaster promises an answer within
24. hours.
A "virtual library" is under construc-
tion and will house an array of articles
on the subject. You can also read an
online "book" on Moshiach, though
in reality it's more like a short tract.
Aside from a short written messagc
from the late Lubavitcher Rebbe,
there's no specific reference to the
Chabad movement on the site.
Agree or disagree with the underly-
ing theology here, the Moshiach
Online homepage is a model of effec-
tive Web outreach. Other Jewish
groups should take note.
