Torahtaynu
Celebration

The culmination of B'nai Moshe's
yearlong Torahtaynu project will be
held Sunday, May 16, at the syna-
gogue when the new Torah is dedi-
cated.
Individuals and families who ded-
icated to Torahtaynu are invited to
watch the sofer (scribe) complete his
task from 2:30-5 p.m. A children's
program will take place from 3-4
p.m. with Rabbi Elliot Pachter read-
ing Torah stories and Cantor Berris
leading singing and dancing. Light
refreshments will be
served.
Everyone is invited to join the
group dedication at 7 p.m. as the
last letters of the Torah are complet-
ed and the Shehechiyanu blessing is
said. A program and reception will
follow.
The new Torah was made possible
through the generosity of Melvin
Kepes, who purchased it in mem-
ory, of B'nai Moshe's beloved Torah
reader, Avram Rabinovitz.
