Miller is a National Merit finalist,
Michigan Competitive Scholarship
awardee and Phi Beta Kappa. She was
on student council, was the costume
head two years for school play, volun-
teered at Jewish Family Service and
tutors in algebra and Hebrew subjects.
She will attend Bnos Chava in Israel
and then a university in Houston.

Neuman is a National Merit finalist
and member of Honors Society. He
was president of his B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization chapter and will gradu-
ate from Shaarey Zedek high sch000l.
He was a member of the West
Bloomfield High School Jazz Band
that was invited to play at the
Montreaux Jazz Festival. He will
attend the Honors Program at the
University of Michigan.

Akiva

Newman is a member of National
Honor Society, vice president of stu-
dent council, Coca-Cola Scholarship
semifinalist, Southfield Youth Award
and Phi Beta Kappa. She is class trea-
surer and plays varsity basketball. She
is co-regional director of Bnei Akiva
and has served on its board six years.
She will attend Bar-Ilan University
and then the University of Michigan.
