Brown won Michigan Competitive
and Wayne State University
Presidential scholarships, and is Phi
Beta Kappa. She was vice president of
student council and was responsible
for tickets and sound in her school
production. She is active in the
Chesed program and has volunteered
at Jewish Family Service. She will
attend Bnos Chava Teachers Seminary
in Jerusalem.

Cantor is senior class secretary, mem-
ber of National Honor Society, cap-
tain of forensics and won third and
fourth place at states in informative
speaking, and fifth in original poetry.
She is captain of varsity pompon, per-
formed for four years in Andover
musicals, and is founder and president
of AP Book Club. She will attend the
University of Michigan.

Burkhead-Weiner is a member of
National Honor Society, a National
Merit commended student and
Academic All-American. She co-cap-
tained the swimming and track teams
and was a four-year Maccabi partici-
pant. She will graduate Temple Israel
high school and participate in the
Israel Sports Spectacular. She will
attend Swarthmore College.

Walled Lake Western

Cohen is a member of senior class
council, National Honor Society,
forensics, tennis, track, soccer, choir
and Warrior Leadership. She partici-
pated in the Volleyball Marathon
charity fund-raiser four years and
delivered food during the holidays to
needy families through Jewish
Federation. She plans to major in
international business at the
University of Michigan.
