Adelman is a member of National
Honor Society, Leadership Academy,
Student Congress and editor of year-
book. She was a two-year science and
math tutor and participates in tennis
and track. She will graduate from
Shaarey Zedek high school and will
attend the University of Michigan.

DAVID BASSIN
Waterford Mott
Bassin is a member of National
Honor Society, marching band, jazz
band, pit orchestra and OCC sym-
phony band. He has earned scholar-
ships from the Tuesday Musicale of
Pontiac, Michigan Competing Band
Association, William Beaumont
Hospital and Western Michigan
University's Achievement, Medallion
and Music scholarships. He will study
piano at WMU School of Music and
Lee Honors College.
KELLY BRICKNER
North Farmington
Brickner is active in student govern-
ment and pompon squad. She per-
formed at the Orange Bowl half-time
show in Miami as part of the Mid-
American Pompon all-star team. She
has done more than 70 hours of com-
munity service, is a member of Ruach
BBG and received school recognition
in physics, biology, chemistry and
English. She will attend the University
of Michigan.

Harrison
Anstandig is a member of National
Honor Society, participated in march-
ing band and school musicals and was
awarded an honorable mention from
the Farmington Musicale for her clar-
inet solo. She is on track team, and is
active in tutoring, recycling and Meals
on Wheels. She will work in one of
the genetics research laboratories at
the University of Michigan this sum-
mer and attend U-M this fall.
LAURENCE BENENSON
West Bloomfield
Benenson is a National Merit Scholar,
National Honor Society president,
treasurer of senior class and a
University of Michigan Regents
Scholar. He has been recognized with
a Detroit Free Press Michigan
Academic All-State Award, and
Eccentric Newspapers Academic All-
Star Team Award and a WXYZ-TV
Brightest and Best Award. He will
attend the University of Michigan.
ROBERT BRODE
Berkley
Brode is a member of National Honor
Society, Peer Mentoring Group, USY,
and is vice president of senior class.
He won the Xerox Award, University
of Michigan Regents Scholarship,
Scholar Athlete Award (twice) and is
co-valedictorian. He was wrestling
MVP. He will graduate Shaarey Zedek
high school and will attend the
University of Michigan.
