An aging pop-icon based on Frank
Sinatra is the lead character in Andy
Kirshneisexperimental music-theater
piece, Relive the Magic, which the
doctoral student at U-M's School of
Music will present at the Michigan
Theater in Ann Arbor 3 p.m. Sunday,
April 11. "I'm trying to create some-
thing that is entertaining and funny,
but is also a meditation on aging and
memory and loss of self," says Kirshner.

Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist
Mike Stern first gained recognition
with Miles Davis' comeback band in
1980. He went on to be named Best
Jazz Guitarist by the readers and critics
of Guitar Player Magazine. A regular at
